At the bottom of the forum page you will notice a Legend that identifies User groups by color.

This post is an explanation of these User groups.

Administrator - Board owner, has access to all functions of the board. Is the only user group that has access to members ip addresses.

Super Moderator - Has partial access to administrative functions and is able to modify, relocate posts as well as use the infraction system.

Moderator - Is able to modify, relocate posts as well as use the infraction system.

Newbie - This user group has no administrative or moderating capabilities. There are reduced functions available (example; 50 stored messages in PM box) and does not have access to certain board features until (or if) they achieve full member status by making 250 posts.

Member - This user group has no administrative or moderating capabilities. They have increased functions available (example; 100 stored messages in PM box) and has full access to all board features.

Suspended - This user group has access to the board but cannot use any of its functions or features.

Miserable - When classed as miserable user group, a member suffers ;

  1. Slow response (time delay) on every page
  2. A chance they will get the "server busy" message
  3. A chance that no search facilities will be available
  4. A chance they will get redirected to another preset page
  5. A chance they will simply get a blank page
  6. Post flood limit increased by a factor of 10
  7. If they get past all this okay, then they will be served up their proper page (Odds are 1 in 300)

A member obtains a status of miserable as noted in the Infraction System.

Banned - Does not have any access to The Peace Arch
