    uuuuuuuuupdate.

So I put the guitar thing on hold until last week (Wednesday) when I took my first lesson (I got the boy to buy me a set of 10 for Christmas). I learned 3 notes on the string that night, and have moved on to the second string. I am working my way through "Ode To Joy" right now, lol.

I practice about half an hour a day, even though my guitar teacher says I only really need 1o minutes. I leave the guitar out on my bed, so every time I can't find something to watch on TV, I go straight to the bedroom and practice. I'm having fun, and it's the first time in forever I've learned something just for the fun of it. I should have picked this up years ago!

I'll keep you updated on my progress, I'm hoping to be on the 6th string in 2 more weeks.

Ode to Joy is a good one.

Bravo. wish I'd done it 30 years ago.

    Oh just for good measure.

That's the book I'm using. My guitar teacher sold it to me for the manufacturers price. He said it the only one he uses to teach absolute beginners.
