One of my daughter's best friends was named after this song, sadly she passed away while in her freshmen year at college (no one knew she had leukemia... she passed in her mothers arms one evening, while they thought she "only" had the flu). She was a fine young lady and will be missed.

I spent a whole summer, my graduating year, in North Carolina and developed a fondness for the fiddle. Good stuff!
Edited to add: So Into You - The Average White Band ... they were from Atlanta, that qualifies, late '70's.
