In 1999, this first person shooter was released during the 81th anniversary of the end of World War I.

In this game, you play Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson, a former C-47 Skytrain pilot in the Air Transport Command who has been recruited to the OSS. It is nearing the end of World War II, as you and your men must try to destroy enemy positions and kill any remaining German forces.

Developed by DreamWorks Interactive, and created by Steven Spielberg, this game received many positive reviews by critics, as it was praised for its' realistic gameplay, engrossing storyline and and very detailed graphics.

Due to its' success, this game would later be followed by numerous spinoffs.
