2- Shortcuts
a- Select all (ctrl+a)

c- Paste ( ctrl+v )
d- Cut ( ctrl+x )
e- Toggle Undo-redo last action ( ctrl+z )
f - step 1 action in history of actions ( ctrl+alt+z )
--- plus many more

3- basic image alterations
a- resizing
b- cropping
c- transform image types
d- creating a gif image with transparent background
etc etc...

4- introduce advance tools
a- Dodge and Burn
b- Stamp tool
c- band-aid
d- Gradients
e- Textures

5- Using layers
a- Layers visibility + opacity
b- layering styles
c- Layer blending styles
d- Channels & paths (rarely used and somewhat useless for everyday use)
etc etc...

6- Examples of restoring old images to new.
7- creating special effects using filters and layers.

and sooooo much more.
