    Flash vs. ambient light

Yesterday I went on a photo opportunity tour of the Village Quebecois d'Antan in Drummondville.
The joy of digital photography is that your mistakes don't cost you much .
Here I took two shots as I noticed with the ambient light the shutter too long to complete. So any movements will blur the shot as you may see the first one looks out of focus. The second is clearer but looks unnatural .
My big mistake is I forgot to readjust the iso settings as it was on 100 . That is like the film you use for outside exposers. 400 or higher would of been better to get a clearer shot. Tho it might turn out grainier. Live and learn, the only way .

Here's another example of ambient light affect. The red of curtains colours the whole room and gives if a soft warm feel compared to a flash. Here I was luckier in holding the camera with a low iso setting.
