    Healing Lights

I thought I had a thread going for intentions. I do a great deal of candle magic and healing. Its no more than lighting a candle for those who need a prayer. Its old and simple magic one with lots of Love attached. If you feel you need a candle let me know here or in PM

    A Morning Prayer

    Oh Great Goddess
    Bless this day
    Keep me safe and whole

    Oh Great Goddess
    Bless my path
Help me to act on thy wisdom

    Oh Great Goddess
    Bless my family
    Living on this Earth

That’s a good prayer, selfactivated.

I’ve been looking into the candle rituals of Paganism, and it seems complicated—there’s really no “correct” answer as to how to write a prayer, or which coloured candle to use (although there is some consensus for some colours and types). It is such a personal thing, that the prayer and the candles, the shapes and the atmosphere, and the intentions, they’re all up to the individual—therein lies the strength of Pagans, I suppose. Heh, I’ve rambled on again.

Your so right that is our strength. Individualism hold so much power. Its what you find powerful in a color, for me purple is healing, blue is calming, green is abundance, orange is brightness, yellow spiritual, white purity and can be a conduit for any color. Black is the crone, red the maiden ect.

my mother always told me blue was a healing colour. At the time i wondered what she'd been taking but after her insistance, I kind of see what she means. Maybe it's only because she said it that it works like that in my head. if it ain't broke, don't fix it, eh?

It takes 43 muscles to frown, and only 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

I call upon the Crone to give me wisdom in knowing the healing path. I ask you guide my heart and my spirit. You are the part of me that holds the ancient magic of Knowing and I invoke you to guide me now.

    So Mote It Be!
