With that in mind, Rogers is planning on launching the channel in the fall of this year.

actually according to what i've heard on august 31st analog over the air brodcasts will end. the analog cable tv brodcasts will continue after august 31st. i think.:)

My understanding is cable is unaffected (for now). The writing is on the wall. We are about 3 years behind the USA in this too.
