Well, if I'm not mistaken, I think this is my first film thread of 2012 here, and wow, what a way to start! (Dragon Tattoo and War House don't count)

I finally decided to catch this thriller last night, after I had decided to rent it on iTunes.

Well, was I in for a real treat or what?! Out of all of the thrillers that I have ever seen, I think this just might have been the first one to really have me on the edge of my seat and sick to my stomach. I had no idea what to expect from this, as I was absolutely terrified of the situation between the hijackers and the passengers.

I have to admit, for being over 35 years old, this film feels pretty fresh and relevant to today's climate. I guess that's why it freaked me out last night...it's a situation that could happen!

This thriller was incredible! The direction was solid, the script was sharp and the acting was great. Hell, I think this was the first time that I ever saw Oscar Madison pissed! *laugh*

This was definitely a great watch. As a whole, I thought it was a complete roller coaster ride from start to finish.

I've never seen the original but I have seen the remake they did in 2009. That one was pretty good. I may have to check out the original at some point.
