    Exclamation Tpa policy and discipline

Just a quick note to all members regarding a couple of policies we have here at TPA. First and foremost I want to reinforce with everyone that members who choose to square off in War of Words that you do so of your own accord. If Member A is calling Member B a $@#*^ in War of Words and one of them doesn't like it the easy solution is to disengage from the conversation.

However; the use of any members family as fodder is strictly prohibited here at TPA. I don't care if your joking, I don't care if its a Wife, a Brother, a Mother, a Father. Using family members as a way of debating or flaming is something that will not be tolerated.

When you use a persons family in this way you do not know the circumstances of their personal life and in doing so may be inflicting more harm than you are aware. To express how serious I am about this, two former members of this forum have been permanently banned from TPA for doing this. Nobody gets a pass on this.

Second point I want to hit on is the use of slander when referring to another member. Accusing a member of something dispicable (ie: child molestation) is not only prohibited here on TPA, but could carry with it legal ramifications. Therefore, such activity on the part of any member is strongly discouraged.

Final point. TPA is here for you guys to enjoy. We do not expect everyone to get along or agree. A lot of you folks frequent other forums on the web, that is cool if you got the time. Some of you even know each other from other forums and have used word of mouth to come to TPA. Again no problem. Just one thing. If you have an issue with another member on another forum please do not drag that issue here. We have enough stuff to deal with on our own and really could care less about moderating discussions and arguments from other boards.

So that's it, hope everyone is having a great 4th of July Weekend.

I am about to join my Lady for an afternoon drink because I can.

    All the Best
    Mark
