    Tracking the Login Issues

Last night we thought we had a fix in for the Login Issue, but just when I grinned and boasted that we had it licked the bloody site bounced me out again. Speaking with a consultant on this we think it might be a conflict, and yes Owl we did consider your post.

So, I think the key now is to determine how many people are getting bounced and how.

Please post in the poll whether or not you have login issues. Also if you couild give a brief description of your issue so we can compare notes and sort this out.

    Thx
    M

Mine is recognizing me and autologging me in now once in a while, if I click around the site a bit. It takes a few clicks before it will recognize though. So far that's a pretty minor glitch compared to what it was.

In my case it usually is after I'm logged in and I will try to click the new posts then suddenly I find myself having to Login again. It doesn't always happen right away.

Surprisingly, I haven't had any issues in terms of logging in. *knocks on wood*

When the issues were starting to happen here, there was at one point when there was talk that CCleaner would be a problem, when it actually wasn't when it came down to it. Before that was found out however, I did do a regular cleaning of my computer as I wiped my cookies and Internet cache by accident. Figuring that I was going to be screwed, I was surprised to see that I was still able to log in and haven't been bumped at all. *Knocks on wood harder*

Did I tell you that I have been knocking on wood? Good thing I'm at the kitchen table!

Edit: Reminds me, I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium with Firefox as my browser of choice.

I've never had a single problem. Even when all cookies are cleared during housekeeping. I always stay logged-in though.

XP and FF loaded heavily with extensions and add-ons..

That just reminded me of something since I have the same system on this machine...I had a windows update this morning...that might have somehow fixed the problem..

When I log in have no problems as long as I just read the threads, but if I want to reply I have to log in again.
